To Whom It May Concern,

A child I know brought this craft home from school, I absolutely loved it and had to share it!

Card stock

Mini marshmallows (better if stale*)

Scissors

Glue

HINTS:

You can click on the image for the actual size.

Enlarge it on a copier.

It may take a few days for mini marshmallows to go stale.

Use Pink or Red cardstock for tongue

Use patterns on the right

Trace patterns onto cardstock

Cut out

Fold at fold lines -- - - - - -

Fold tongue at points

Glue fold of tongue on bottom half of mouth

Glue marshmallows around top and bottom of mouth (like a natural mouth)

Allow to dry

Follow up activities:

Make a tooth pocket -----------using 2 pieces of felt cut out in a tooth pattern.

Hot glue (adults’ job) or sew the pieces together.

Leave center top open.

When the child looses a tooth, they can put it in the pocket for the Tooth Fairy to find it. Parents can leave the money in it too!

Make a toothbrush--------using a Popsicle stick and a foam cut out of the toothbrush head.

You’ll need a foam sheet cut into the brush shape

Have the children glue it to the handle (Popsicle stick)
