I stumpled upon this site researching Christian themed crafts.
I like how they presented the book and I think you will too.

The Wordless Book

15 sugar cubes

Easter grass

Glue

 

Base-------

Glue 9 cubes together in a square.

Allow to dry.

 

Cross--------

Glue 4 cubes in a row.

Glue remaining cubes to either side (to form cross).

Allow to dry.

 

Assembly-----------

HINT:

You may want to use hot glue for this.

 

Glue the cross standing up on the base.

 

HINT:

If using regular glue,

You may want to use a can or box for support as it dries.

 

Glue Easter grass to the base around the cross and (or) to the base itself.

 

Hint:

Storage-------

Keep in an airtight container in a cool dry place. You may even want to wrap it in bubble wrap.
