Turn the ordinary into something mysterious!

Everyday things take on a new look when you look at them close-up.

All you need is a magnifying glass and any object.

> Find some items or food and let the children explore how they look.

> Have them look again through a magnifying glass

> Ask them to describe what they see both times.

> Do they see things they couldn’t see before?

Extend the activity:

Take a picture of something magnified and normal and see if the children can guess what the magnified image is.
